Abstract
These Regulations amend the Bathing Waters (Scotland) Regulations 2008 so as to carry into effect in Scotland Community provisions in relation with the classification of "short-term pollution" by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, the availability and dissemination of information on short-term pollution, that where short-term pollution is predicted or present, the measures the Agency must take. Those measures include surveillance, early warning systems and monitoring, with a view to issuing a warning or bathing prohibition.
