Abstract
These Regulations implement, for Scotland, Community legislation concerning the management of bathing water quality. They identify bathing waters and the length of the bathing season and set out general duties on the Scottish Ministers, local authorities and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency in order to secure compliance with Community legislation. The Regulations further concern public participation, the establishment of a bathing water profile at every bathing water, bathing water quality and monitoring.
