Abstract
This Order amends the Bluetongue (Scotland) Order 2008 mainly to make specific provision for vaccination of animals against bluetongue. It also amends the definition of ‘animal’ so as to include camelids, requires that any conditions in a declaration of zones or condition of a licence must be complied with, sets out powers veterinary inspectors, allows an operator of a slaughterhouse in a surveillance zone to slaughter an animal from a protection zone only if licensed to do so and provides with respect to animal movements from restricted zones to premises in a free area and movement of vaccinated animals.
