Abstract
These Regulations implement specified Community legislation on restrictions on the marketing and use of certain dangerous substances and preparations. They describe the procedures for classifying dangerous substances and dangerous preparations and describe the safety data sheets which are required to be provided when dangerous substances, dangerous preparations and certain other preparations are supplied. They further impose requirements relating to the packaging of dangerous substances and dangerous preparations and impose requirements in respect of the particulars that must be shown on the labels for such substances and preparations. Other regulations concern packing, labelling and classification of dangerous chemicals.
