Energy Efficiency (Encouragement, Assessment and Information) Regulations 2014 (S.I. No. 1403 of 2014).

This Order imposes a duty on the relevant authority for England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland to assess the potential for high-efficiency cogeneration of heat and electricity and efficient district heating and cooling in accordance with Directive 2012/27/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on energy efficiency. The competent authorities to ensure that information on promotion of energy efficiency is accessible and widely disseminated to relevant market actors and the implement some other measures regarding energy efficiency.
