Abstract
These Regulations, made by the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure under the Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1966, provide rules for non-commercial fishing in inland waters and the sea and tidal water of Northern Ireland. The Department may issue a fishing licence for specified fish by specified means. The Regulations provide for the application for, the granting or revocation of, and refusal to issue or renew, a fishing licence. It provides with respect to appeal against decisions related to licences and also provides rules relative to the use of specified gear, closed seasons, specific fishery, seize of fish, etc.
