Abstract
The Act provides for the extension of the British Fishery Limits to 200 nautical miles and in connection with that extension makes further provision for fishing in the sea. Section 2 prescribes rules for the access of foreign fishing vessels. Section 3 substitutes section 4 of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967 concerning licensing of fishing boats. Section 4 provides for the extension of regulation making powers. (12 sections completed by 4 Schedules: Offences(1) Consequential Amendments (2), Transitional Provisions (3), Repeals (4))
