Green Deal Framework (Disclosure, Acknowledgment, Redress etc.) Regulations 2012 (S.I. No. 2079 of 2012).

These Regulations provide for selected matters as required for the for Green Deal energy efficiency scheme, which was created by Chapter 1 of Part 1 of the Energy Act 2011. They, among other things: provide for the authorization of a person as a green deal certification body or green deal participant; require the Secretary of State to establish and maintain registers of persons authorized as green deal certification bodies and green deal participants and to issue a code of practice for such persons; set out requirements which apply to green deal certification bodies, green deal assessors, green deal installers and green deal providers; define estimates to be included and conditions to be met in a green deal plan; and concern sanctions which the Secretary of State may impose and enforcement undertakings that may be carried out.
