Historic Environment Scotland Act 2014 (Saving, Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Order 2015 (S.I. No. 239 of 2015).

This Order makes saving, transitional and consequential provisions in relation to the commencement of various provisions of the Historic Environment Scotland Act 2014. The Act creates Historic Environment Scotland, which will be a Non-Departmental Public Body. It will be the lead agency for management and administration of Scotland‘s historic environment. The Act also sets out the governance arrangements for the new body and provides for the delegation or transfer to Historic Environment Scotland of Ministerial powers and responsibilities under existing legislation.
