Abstract
An Act to update and reform the statute law relating to land registration. On recommendation of the Law Commission and Land Registry this Act creates the necessary legal framework in which all registered conveyancing of land can be conducted electronically.
The Act is divided into 12 Parts: Preliminary(1); First registration of title (2); Dispositions of registered land (3); Notices and restrictions (4); Charges (5); Registration: General (6); Special cases (7); Electronic conveyancing (8); Adverse possession (9); Land registry (10); Adjudication (11); Miscellaneous and general (12).
