Non-Commercial Movement of Pet Animals Order (Northern Ireland) 2011 (S.S.I. No. 440 of 2011).

This Order makes provision for the administration and enforcement of specified EU legislation on pet movement and the prevention of certain health risks related to pet animals. It, among other things, concerns preventive health measures that apply to the movement of pet animals to Northern Ireland to protect against the risk of the introduction of rabies and designates the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as the competent authority responsible for various functions under the Order.
