Nuclear Decommissioning and Waste Handling (Finance and Fees) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 134 of 2011).

This Order, for purposes of Chapter 1 of Part 3 of the Energy Act 2008 which sets out the legislative framework for funded decommissioning programmes, makes provision for cost specification for designated technical matters of such programmes. An operator must provide to the Secretary of State reports on an annual and five yearly basis. Regulation 7 provides the circumstances in which the Secretary of State may rely on verification reports.
