The Official Controls (Plant Health) (Frequency of Checks) Regulations 2022 (S.I. 739 of 2022).

Part 1 of these Regulations establishes a regime to determine the frequency rates of physical checks and identity checks of consignments of certain plants, plant products and other objects entering Great Britain from a third country, including annual review and modification of the frequency rate. Regulation 5 also clarify the way how plant health inspector must select a third country consignment for a physical check.
