Abstract
These Regulations implement Directive 2014/52/EU(a) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment ( the EIA Directive ) (as it applies offshore and to certain pipe-lines on land in Great Britain); implement an obligation under Article 6 of Council Directive 92/43/EEC(b) on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild flora and fauna ( the Habitats Directive ) as it applies offshore to oil and gas activities, carbon capture storage and gas storage, and unloading; and make minor corrections to the Offshore Petroleum Licensing (Offshore Safety Directive) Regulations 2015 (S.I. 2015/385)
