Pesticides (Maximum Residue Levels in Crops, Feed and Feeding Stuffs) (Amendment) Regulations, 1997 (S.I. No. 567 of 1997).

These Regulations specify new maximum levels of pesticide residues which may be left in crop, food and feeding stuffs ("product" specified in Schedule 2) in implementation of Council Directives 96/32/EC and 96/33/EC. They concern pesticides for which no standards were set previously or replace existing Community maximum residue levels. The Regulations also revoke certain levels which were included in Part I of Schedule 2 by virtue of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 and which are now replaced by maximum residue levels set by the Community and now included in Part 2 of that Schedule.
