Radioactive Substances (Testing Instruments)(England and Wales) Exemption Order 2006 (S.I. No. 1500 of 2006).

This Order specifies exemptions from the requirement of registration as users of radioactive material under section 7 of the Radioactive Substances Act 1993 and registration as registration of mobile radioactive apparatus under section 10 of the Act. The Order further specifies, among other things, exemptions, at certain conditions and limitations, from the requirement to obtain an authorization for the disposal of radioactive waste under section 13 of the Act or for the accumulation of radioactive waste under section 14 of the Act.
