Sea Fisheries (Licensing of Fishing Boats) (Amendment) (Jersey) Regulations 2006 (RO 78/2006).

These Regulations amend the Sea Fisheries (Licensing of Fishing Boats) (Jersey) Regulations 2003 with regard to the reciprocal authorization of fishing and access in marine areas of Jersey and France and by inserting a provision that prohibits, in any part of the Area, being a part that is within the territorial sea of France, fishing with beam trawls by a Jersey fishing boat unless authorized by the Minister. No more than five permits to fish with beam trawls shall be in force at any one time. Further requirements regarding the carrying on board of documents and the notification of authorizations are specified.
