Abstract
These Regulations restrict the taking of shellfish or molluscs by way of underwater fishing. It shall be prohibited to take shellfish from the sea with a breathing apparatus but this prohibition shall not apply to authorized fishing for scientific purposes or for purposes of transplanting shellfish. The prohibition shall not apply to fishing for crabs. The Minister may grant permits authorizing the taking scallops from the sea or from a specified portion of the sea while totally or partially submerged. Specified conditions may be attached to such permit.
