Sheep and Goats (Records, Identification and Movement) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2006 (W.S.I. No. 2926 (W. 261) of 2006).

This Order amends the Sheep and Goats (Records, Identification and Movement) (Wales) Order 2006 in provisions regarding the identification by eartags of animals moved to another member State of the European Union. This Order also inserts new provision on powers of enforcement of inspectors, reasonable assistance to a person acting under the principal Order, the provision of false or misleading information, and relating to offences committed by bodies corporate. The Third Schedule to the principal Order, which prescribes the form for recording animal movements, is amended so as to give effect to a requirement of Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1/2005 on the protection of animals during transport and related operations.
