Sheep and Goats (Records, Identification and Movement) (Wales) Order 2006 (W.S.I. No. 1036 (W.106) 2006).

This Order makes provision for the administration and enforcement in Wales of Council Regulation (EC) No 21/2004 establishing a system for the identification and registration of ovine and caprine animals. The Order makes provision in respect of the identification of animals involved in intra-Community trade and animals that are not involved in intra-Community trade. It provides for a national system of identification and tracing to be operative when an animal is moved within the United Kingdom.
The national system is approved by the Commission in accordance with specified Community legislation. Flock or herd details shall be registered in accordance with this Order.
