Abstract
These Regulations provide for a right of appeal by a developer to the Welsh Ministers against a decision of an approving body under Schedule 3 to the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 in relation to applications for approval or in relation to the duty to adopt with respect to sustainable drainage systems. Sustainable drainage” means managing rainwater (including snow and other precipitation) with the aim of— (a) reducing damage from flooding, (b) improving water quality, (c) protecting and improving the environment, (d) protecting health and safety, and (e) ensuring the stability and durability of drainage systems.
