Tollesbury and Mersea (Blackwater) Fishery Order 2019 (S.I. No. 974 of 2019).

This Order confers, by virtue of section 1 of the Sea Fisheries (Shellfish) Act 1967, until 2039 on the Tollesbury and Mersea Native Oyster Fishery Company Limited the exclusive right to deposit, propagate, fish for and take scallops within the area, subject to certain restrictions. It, among other things, requires the grantee to carry out operations in accordance with a management plan. The Order also provides for the periodic review of the management plan.
