Abstract
These Regulations make provision for the authorization, manufacture, classification, distribution and administration of veterinary medicinal products.
The Regulations revoke and re-enact the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2005 which they amend in rules relative to the control of manufacture and placing on the market of veterinary medicines. Among other things, they re-introduce requirements for recording specific batches of veterinary medicinal products administered to food-producing animals and re-introduce requirements in respect of labelling veterinary medicinal products at the time of retail supply so as to safeguard the presence of essential safety warnings and other information.
