Abstract
These Regulations amend the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 so as to ensure implementation of Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on waste. They insert of a new regulation (49), which requires the Secretary of State to review the operation and effect of those Regulations in relation to England within five years after 1st October 2012 and within every five years after that date. They also amend regulation 13 (duties in relation to collection of waste) and regulation 14 in relation with the duty to keep waste separate.
