Water (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. No. 112 of 2019).

These Regulations address failures of retained EU law relating to water to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union in accordance with the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16). They amend the Marine Act (Northern Ireland) 2013 and subsidiary legislation regarding marine pollution, water supply, freshwater pollution and groundwater management. They also retain EU legislation, notably the Water Framework Directive and the Groundwater Directive, with modifications as UK law.
