Abstract
These Rules concern procedures of special administration consequent to the state of insolvency of relevant companies within the meaning of the Water Industry Act 1991. Relevant companies are water undertakers, sewerage undertakers or companies that are qualifying licensed water suppliers under that Act. The administration shall be undertaken by a special administrator as proposed by petition and appointed by court. The Rules contain provisions relating to the punishment of contraventions of the Rules.
