Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (Variation of Schedules 5 and 8) (England and Wales) Order 2011 (S.I. No. 2015 of 2011).

This Order varies Schedules 5 and 8 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Schedule 5 lists animals protected under section 9 of that Act, and Schedule 8 lists plants protected under section 13 of that Act. Schedule 5 is amended by adding or removing animals from the list of protected animals and by extending or decreasing protection of certain animals. Schedule 8 is amended by adding or removing plants from the list of protected plants.
