Abstract
Part 1 concerns wildlife management; prohibition and offences related the use of and possession of glue trap, however also recognises that the Scottish Ministers may, by regulations, make a scheme for the authorisation of the use, supply or possession of glue traps; prohibition and offences related to the use of snares. Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 is amended through Regulation 7, in particular the Regulations establish: requirements for use of traps; application procedure for licensing, etc. Other provisions concern licensing of land for killing and taking of certain birds; Licensing: land on which certain birds may be killed or taken. Part 2 regulates muirburn licence.

An Act of the Scottish Parliament to make provision for the management of wildlife through the prohibition of glue traps and snares and regulation of other wildlife traps and the licensing of land on which certain birds are to be killed or taken; and for the licensing of the making of muirburn; and for connected purposes.
