Abstract
The goal and the purpose of the present Law are: a). to promote trade of quality foodstuffs and tobaccos and to protect consumers from spoiled and adulterated products; b). establishment of common requirements and bans, quality indicators for foodstuffs and tobaccos and determination of the role of state institutions in this sphere. The document consists of IX Chapters that contain 15 Articles. Chapter I (arts. 1 and 2) lays down general provisions. Chapter II (arts. 3-8) regards processing and trade of foodstuffs. Chapter III (art. 9) regards processing and trade of tobaccos. Chapter IV (art. 10) regards transportation. Chapter V (art. 11) regards control. Chapter VI (art. 12) regards export and import of foodstuffs and tobaccos. Chapter VII (art. 13) establishes liability for the infringement of the present Law. Chapter VIII (art. 14) lays down transitional provisions. Chapter IX (art. 15) lays down final provisions.
