Order No 111/N of 2003 of Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia on Rules for Determining Necessary Foods for Human Physiological Need of Energy and Nutrition, and Subsistence Minimum

The Order provides rules for determining subsistence minimum. It consists of eight chapters: Scope of application and general provisions (I); Terms and definitions (II); Recommended levels of energy consumption (III); Physical activity coefficient (IV); Differentiation of population that are fit for employment according to energy consumption (V); Principles for recommended levels of consumption of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and microelements (VI); Physiological needs of humans of energy and nutrition (VII); and Chemical composition of main groups of foods and principles for calculating them (VIII). The calculation is used for planning of production and consumption of foodstuffs, as well as for developing economic policy and social protection measures.
