Order No. 1/N of 2017 of Chair of National Environmental Agency of Georgia on Conducting Auction, Setting Starting Price and Terms of Payment for Issuing Use Licenses

The Order regulates auctions for issuing licenses for use of natural resources, setting starting price and terms for payment thereof. It consists of four chapters: General provisions (I); Organizational measures for conducting an auction and setting the starting price of the license (II); Procedures for conducting auctions (III); and Rules and terms for conducting an electronic (internet) auction (IV). The Order notes that auctions may be open or closed. Closed auctions are allowed only in special cases with the consent of the Georgian Government.
