Order No 2-37 of 2003 of Minister of Agriculture and Food of Georgia on Examining and Identifying Required Information for Registration of Designation of Origin for Wine and Wine Brandy and the Control thereof

The Order regulates (1) registration of designation of origin for wine and wine brandy and (2) the control thereof. The first set of rules consists of four articles: General provisions (1); Authority to examine and verify information (2); Information that requires examination and verification (3); and Conformity of information with the legal requirements (4). The second set of rules consists of six articles: General provisions (1); Objects under state control (2); Authority to undertake state control measures (3); Authority of control officers (4); Obligation of business organization (5); and Results of control measures (6). The purpose of the Order is to regulate the registrations of designation of origin of wine and wine brandy pursuant to Law of Georgia on Designations of Origin and Geographical Indications of Goods and Law of Georgia on Vine and Wine.
