Abstract
The Order establishes and adopts the charter for the National Wine Agency of Georgia. It consists of 11 articles: General provisions (1); Authority and functions of the Agency (2); Management and representation of the Agency (3); Structure of the Agency (4); Functions of the structural units of the Agency (5); Permanent Degustation Commission (6); Management of departments (7); Property of the Agency (8); Financing of the Agency (9); State control of the Agency (10); and Final provisions (11). The main functions of the Agency include regulation of wine-making in Georgia; supervision of grape-based alcohol production, and domestic and international distribution; certification of grape-based alcohol beverages in Georgia; supervision of propagation of grafting and planting materials of vine; and promotion of the culture and history of Georgian vine and wine.
