Abstract
This Resolution provides rules for certification of alcohol beverages and spirits based on grapes. It consists of 15 articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Registration of wine company (3); Stages of certification (4); Application for certification (5); Lot number (6); Sampling by applicant (7); Laboratory testing of a sample (analytic examination) (8); Organoleptic inspection (degustation) (9); Decision-making on issuance of certificate (10); Issuing certificate, registration and revocation (11); Declaration of non-conformity (12); Certification of imported alcohol in Georgia intended for sale in Georgia (13); Issuing Certificate VI(1) for grape juice and grape must (14); and Inspection (15). The Resolution also adopts Annex 1 Application on Registration of Wine Company; Annex 2 Application for Issuing Certificate of Conformity; Annex 3 Information on Quantity and Origin of Grape-based Alcohol Drinks, Grape-based Spirits, Grape Must and Grape Juice Stored at a Company when Certificate is Issued; Annex 4 Form for Sampling by Applicant (Wine Company); Annex 5 Form for Certificate of Conformity; Annex 6 Certificate VI(1); Annex 7 Declaration of Conformity; and Annex 8 Form for Inspection Sampling.
