Abstract
The Resolution regulates handling of radioactive waste. It consists of 12 articles: Scope of regulation (1); Purposes of the Resolution (2); Definition of terms (3); Creation and classification of radioactive waste (4); Principles and main rules for handling radioactive waste (5); Unified system and main stages of handling radioactive waste (6); Handling radioactive waste in its place of origination (7); Transportation of radioactive waste (8); Processing and conditioning of radioactive waste (9); Storing radioactive waste in storage or landfill of such waste (10); Readiness for radiation accidents and disasters, and corresponding action plan (11); and Decommission of nuclear and radiation objects (12). The rules apply at all stages of handling radioactive waste for the protection of the personnel involved in the activities and the environment.
