Resolution No. 306 of 2015 of Georgian Government on Management Plans for Protected Areas of Imereti Caves

This Resolution approves the technical regulation on the management plans for the protected areas of Imereti caves. It consists of seven chapters: Introduction (I); Description of the protected areas (II); Long-term goals (III); Situational analysis (IV); Zoning (V); Management plan programs (VI); and Management plan monitoring (VII). Its purposes include protection, restoration and maintenance of natural cultural environment, unique and rare organic and non-organic natural formations, archaeological complexes, and rare monuments of nature; supporting recreation and tourism in the natural and historical-cultural environment; ensuring care, protection and restoration of soil, water, fauna, flora (including forests) and other natural resources; and creating favorable conditions and monitoring education and resource activities for protection and restoration of monuments of nature.
