Abstract
The Resolution regulates use of reservoirs for irrigation in Georgia. It consists of seven chapters: General provisions (I); Developing, confirming and approving rules of use of reservoirs for irrigation (II); Management of protection of hydro-technical structures and water (III); Hydro-meteorological service, taking inventory of water resources, information and notification (IV); Liability (V); Rules of use of small-sized reservoirs and lakes of irrigational purpose (VI); and Main issues that need to be taken into account when using irrigational reservoirs (VII). The Resolution aims for rational use of water in irrigation.
