Abstract
The Resolution regulates summer and winter transhumance activities. It requires that transhumance must follow the routes that are approved by the National Food Agency, which must ensure that animal health is monitored on the routes. It also provides a set of other obligations that the Agency has with regard to animal health, certification and proper monitoring before, during and after transhumance. Finally, the Resolution bans movement of animals without proper certification and imposes other reporting and health-related obligations on the owner of animals.
