Abstract
The Resolution regulates pollution control of surface waters in Georgia. It consists of five articles: Main provisions (1); Regulation of surface water quality (2); Regulation of activities having impact on surface waters and discharging pollutant substances in waters (3); Control and monitoring (4); and Liability (5). The Resolution also includes General requirements for water composition and properties in water objects according to categories of use of water (Annex 1); Permitted limits of concentration of pollutant substances according to categories of use of water (Annex 2); and List of extremely hazardous substances for ecology (Annex 3).
