Resolution No 426 of 2010 of Georgian Government on Rules and Forms for Issuing Permits by Internal Revenue Service and National Food Agency

The Resolution regulates issuance of permits by the customs authority and food agency of Georgia for transiting products subject to veterinary control, importing products subject to veterinary control, and importing plant products subject to phyto-sanitary control. The Resolution consists of 11 articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Types of activities subject to permitting (3); Agency issuing the permits (4); Documents that need be filed for the permit (5); Rules for issuing permits (6); Taking inventory of permit forms (7); Validity period of the permits (8); Control of compliance with permit terms (9); Liability for breaching permit terms; Revocation of permit (10); and Registry of permits (11). The Resolution also provides the list of products subject to permitting as well as permits’ forms that need to be used.
