Abstract
The Resolution regulates control measures of pesticides and agro-chemicals placed on market. It consists of 13 articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Prior assessment of pesticide quality (3); Assessment of safety of pesticides with altered quality indicators (4); Assessment of quality of agro-chemicals (5); Taking samples from agro-chemicals that are in forms of granules, powder or crystal (6); Taking samples from agro-chemicals that are being still processed (unpacked) (7); Taking samples of unpackaged agro-chemicals from vehicles (8); Taking samples of agro-chemicals placed in bags (9); Taking a working sample (10); Procedures for controlling pesticides and agro-chemicals (12); Authorized officer for taking the samples (13); and Safety rules when taking samples (14). The document also includes annexes on forms of sampling acts and number of samples for different types of batches of pesticides and agro-chemicals. In general, the Resolution provides criteria of non-compliance and rules how sampling needs to be held. The compliance is checked against physical-chemical properties, condition of tare, storage regime, expiration dates and other factors.
