Abstract
This Act concerns concession granted on stool lands to which the Administration of Lands Act, 1962, applies. Such concessions shall continue in force according to the terms of the concession, provided that: (a) such terms may be varied by agreement between the parties to the concession, subject to written consent of the Minister and (b) roads on land specified in the concession shall be open for all persons authorised by the Minister (sect. 2). The Minister may apply to the Tribunal established under section 8 of this Act for the termination of a concession on basis of reasons specified in section 3. The Minister may also apply for the modification of terms of a concession agreement under section 4. Holders of mining concessions shall pay rent in accordance with section 10. Transfer of concession rights shall be invalid without consent of the Minister. Forest Reserves and timber concessions (lands referred to in subsection (2) or subsection (4) of section 4 of the Forests Ordinance) are hereby vested in the President in trust for stools concerned

An Act to provide that concessions of the Concessions Ordinance shall cease to apply in respect of Stool lands, to continue in force certain existing concessions subject to their terms and to provide for purposes connected therewith or incidental thereto.
