Fisheries (Amendment) Regulations, 1996 (L.N. No. 41 of 1996).

These Regulations amend the principal Regulations by: (a) appointing the Director instead of the Licensing Officer as the official authorized to designate observers on board of foreign fishing vessels; (b) prescribing that crew on foreign vessels being nationals of The Gambia must be appointed by the Association of Gambian Sailors; (c) revoking and replacing Schedule III prescribing foreign fishing vessel licence fees.
