Abstract
Regulations to implement the Act and to provide further for the importation of plants. No person shall import or cause to be imported into the Gambia any plant or seed except by post or through a designated port. Plants, produce or seeds specified in regulation 4 shall not be imported into the Gambia. Regulation 5 concerns the examination of imported plants by the Customs officer. Restrictions on importation from specified countries are set out in Schedule I. Permits for importation shall be obtained from the Director of Agriculture pursuant to regulation 7. Other Schedules set out forms of permits and health certificates required by authorities of the Gambia.
