Abstract
This Act regulates the importation of Plants defined as “everything in the nature of a plant and the fruit, leaves, cuttings, bark or any part thereof whatsoever, whether living or dead, severed or attached, but shall not include seed, unless specifically mentioned, nor manufactured products of plants”. The Governor-General may set apart lands acquired under the Lands (Provinces) act for use as inspection grounds or any other purpose of the Act. Regulation 4 defines regulation making powers of the Minister relative to the importation of plants. Section 5 prescribes penalties. (5 sections)
