Agreement on Development Cooperation between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Guinea.

By the Presidential Decree No. 6385 of 10 November 2022, the Agreement on Development Cooperation between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Guinea has been approved. The primary objective of this Agreement is to establish the legal and institutional framework for development cooperation between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Guinea. The Parties agree upon cooperation in the fields of agriculture, agro-industry, food processing industry; health; rural and urban development plans and programs; poverty alleviation; water, sanitation, forestry and geology; supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); infrastructure; energy; environment; transportation; culture and tourism; education, training and scientifıc research; supporting and strengthening institutional capacities of public and private institutions including non-governmental organizations, associations and universities; humanitarian relief; and restoration. A Program Coordination Offıce of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency shall be established in Guinea for the irnplementation of the cooperation projects and prograrns developed under this Agreement. This Agreement may be amended by mutual written consent of the Parties at any time. Any dispute arising from the interpretation or implementation of this Agreement shall be settled through diplomatic channels by the Parties and the Parties have agreed not to submit any such dispute to national or international arbitration or arbitration board. This Agreement shall be valid for five years and may be extended or renewed for successive periods of five years with termination rights requiring six months written notice.
