Joint Ministerial Decision 5560/146601 of 2023. Specialisation of division of responsibilities in the Forestry Services of Phytosanitary Control, Definition of Official Forestry Services of Forestry Services of Forestry Services of Plant Services and Determination of Procedures for the Conduct of Official Plant Services /625 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2017 (L 095 and corrigendum L 137), conducted to verify compliance with phytosanitary legislation.

This Ministerial Decision provides for implementing provisions of the Law no. 4691 of 2020 and of the Presidential Decree no. 37 of 2021, and thus defines the procedures for the official controls and other official activities of the competent authorities and the official employees of the forest phytosanitary services. In compliance with European Legislation on the matter, this Decision specifies the division of responsibilities, and particularly concerns: forest plants, forest plant products and other objects of forestry importance; management of forest lands; timber treatment, processing and storage facilities; protection of forest areas located near ports, airports or along road arteries. The Decision also concerns: procedural matters for the execution of official controls; verification procedures and supervision of official controls.
