Ministerial Decision No. 140/106513. National Electronic Beekeeping Registry.

This Ministerial Decision, in application of provisions of the Law no. 4691 of 2020 on the competence of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food for the upgrading and modernisation of the agricultural sector, provides for defining the procedures for the development and operation of the information database called “National Electronic Beekeeping Register”, with the aim of establishing a single digital system for recording, inventorying and identification of beekeepers and beekeeping farms. The Decision concerns: designation of competent authority; registration procedures; marketing of honey and other beekeeping products; production and distribution of home-made food with honey; controls; sanctions and imposition of fines.
