Ministerial Decision no. 278186/2002. Supplementary measures for the implementation of Regulation (EEC) 1898/87 of the Council regarding the protection of the name of milk and milk products, during their disposal.

This Ministerial Decision provides for implementing measures of European Regulations concerning the protection of the name of milk and milk products, by defining the criteria and procedures for the labelling and marketing of the products. This Decision applies to substitutes of milk and dairy products, and concerns: placing on the market of these products; informing consumers on the composition and ingredients of these products; presentation to the consumers, labelling and advertising; ingredients and use of additives; use of geographical indications; requirements of milk products facilities; controls, administrative measures and criminal sanctions.
