Abstract
This Ministerial Decision provides for harmonising Greek Legislation to the European Law in the field of production and marketing of veterinary medicinal products, and thus establishes provisions, in compliance with Directives 2001/82/EC and 2004/28/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, concerning circulation, control and manufacturing conditions of veterinary medicines, immunological and homeopathic veterinary medicines. This Decision applies to veterinary medicinal products, including medicated animal feed. The Decision concerns: circulation of veterinary drugs on the market, issuance of licences and marketing authorisation; measures for protecting human and animal health, in case of serious epizootic infections; provisions for treatment of disease of animals intended for human consumption; provisions concerning packaging and labelling of medicinal products; sale and trade of veterinary medicines and products; penalties and offences.
